TERMS OF SALE & DIGITAL LICENSE AGREEMENT

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BUYER: This legally binding agreement governs your purchase, download, and use of all digital assets provided by Beyond Coded / The Ledger. By purchasing, downloading, or accessing these files—having explicitly checked the box to accept these terms at checkout—you agree to be bound by the conditions below.

1. Proprietary Sheet Design (Universal) The visual layout, UI, typography, and structural design (the "Proprietary Sheet Design") are the exclusive intellectual property of the Seller. The Buyer is granted a non-transferable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use these files as creative frameworks to develop personal or commercial narrative end-products (e.g., novels, scripts, games). Reselling, redistributing, sub-licensing, or repackaging the blank structural sheets, workflows, or the PDF files themselves is strictly prohibited.

2. Licensing Tiers & Exclusivity Rules Your specific intellectual property rights depend strictly on the tier of product purchased:

  • TIER A - Anomaly Edition: Premium 1-of-1 Editions ("Prose Exclusivity"): If you purchased a Premium 1-of-1 edition, your purchase includes narrow "Prose Exclusivity". The Seller guarantees that the exact, word-for-word prose text blocks included in the resolution sections (e.g., "Custom Lore Answers") are exclusive to you and will never be intentionally duplicated or resold. This exclusivity applies only to the specific prose answers; it does not extend to underlying genre tropes, sci-fi/fantasy concepts, or structural layouts.

  • TIER B - Origin Edition: Developer / DIY / Single Seed Editions (Non-Exclusive): If you purchased a Developer, DIY, or Single Seed edition, you acknowledge that this asset is sold non-exclusively to multiple creators. The underlying concepts, loglines, and structural questions are non-exclusive. However, the Buyer retains 100% exclusive intellectual property ownership over any unique text, expansion, answers, and lore details that they independently author and write into the blank workspace fields.

3. Structural Frameworks & Public Funnels (Universal) Storefront marketing assets, descriptions, social media teasers, and promotional titles ("Public Funnel Assets") are expressly excluded from this license. The baseline loglines and core structural questions are strictly non-exclusive frameworks. The Seller retains permanent ownership of these elements and reserves the right to market the standalone structural templates to the public infinitely.

4. Solo Creator Safe Harbor & Waiver (Universal) The Seller is a prolific independent publisher of narrative concepts and structural templates. The independent creation, marketing, or distribution of similar genre concepts, layouts, or thematic mechanisms by the Seller in future distinct products is permitted. The Buyer hereby waives any and all claims, demands, or legal actions arising from thematic resemblances or structural similarities in the Seller's broader catalog.

5. Anti-AI & Prohibited Automation (Universal) The Buyer is strictly prohibited from using any part of these assets (including layout, structural questions, formatting, or prose) to train or develop AI/LLM models, feed automated narrative generators, or generate competing commercial templates for resale. However, the Buyer retains the right to utilize AI tools strictly as a private writing assistant to manipulate, edit, or expand upon their purchased or self-authored inputs for the sole purpose of drafting their personal manuscript.

6. Liability, Jurisdiction & Final Sale (Universal)

  • Limitation of Liability: The Seller's total liability for all claims or breaches shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Buyer for the specific asset.

  • Governed Law & Venue: This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any legal action must be brought exclusively in the courts of Kentucky, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction therein.

  • No Refunds: Due to the immediate digital nature of these products, all sales are strictly final. The Buyer explicitly waives all rights to a refund, exchange, or bank chargeback.
